Brazilian Symposium on Bioinformatics (BSB) will take place at Ferradura Resort Hotel at Búzios,
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and it is the fifth conference in this series.
BSB is once more co-located with EBB (Brazilian School on
Bioinformatics) and IWGD (International Workshop on Genomic Databases).
Participants may enjoy at the same site activities from all three events.
The BSB conference was formerly called WOB (Workshop on Bioinformatics)
from 2002 up to 2004. Since 2005 the conference has changed its name
and its proceedings has been published as a special issue of the series
Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics, from Springer publishers.
BSB + IWGD + EBB 2010 all bring contributions from academic and
industrial researchers in computer science, mathematics and statistics,
as well as biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, microbiology, and medicine.
